This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The Marvels is certainly not one of the strongest MCU films, but by far not the worst. The fact that the film is still performing so disastrously is most likely due to oversaturation and weak marketing compared to other films.
Nevertheless, the film seems lost in the larger MCU context. It is not explained why Fury is suddenly traveling with a new organization in space. Additionally, viewers are left bewildered with the introduction of the X-Men at the end.

Definitely the weakest part of the three films so far, which may be due to the setting being less impressive than in the predecessors. Most of the film takes place behind closed doors and makes little use of Venice. The criminal case is also easier to figure out. The film also tries to incorporate horror elements, which do not succeed and would not have been necessary.

Erinnert ihr euch noch an den Film „Pixels“? Ein ähnliches Fiasko hatte ich erwartet, als ich zum ersten Mal gehört habe, dass „Tetris“ verfilmt werden würde. Falsch gedacht, denn die Verfilmung von Regisseur Jon S. Baird („Stan & Ollie“) und Drehbuchautor Noah Pink („Genius“) ist keine Videospielverfilmung im eigentlichen Sinn, sondern ein biographischer Thriller über die Geschichte hinter „Tetris“. Es geht um den Erfolg eines der bekanntesten Videospiele aller Zeiten, die Verstrickungen dahinter und darüber, wie zwei Männer auf den entgegengesetzten Seiten des eisernen Vorhangs zu einer lebenslangen Freundschaft fanden.
