Nosferatu 2024
I'm not familiar with any nosferatu or dracula media outside of parodies or influences. I will say that I adored Eggers' ability to depict nosferatu's true horror as an everlasting, ever present plague upon humanity, whilst his physical self is still horrifying to behold. Very Morgoth like (hint hint go get the rights to a first age middle earth story Robert)
Oh and Willem Dafoe coming in during the middle really gave this film an extra boost in character. Thematically the film is tight, looks beautiful and the score is goddamn gorgeous. Oh and child murder is BACK baby!
