  It would be easy to write this movie off as psychotic torture porn. It has little setup, and a predominant amount of the running time is committed to violent acts of torture and degradation. However, I think that this film is instead a commentary on the torture porn style films that were popular when it was created. It reaches beyond the scuzzy depths of depravity in the Guinea Pig films (Mermaid in a Manhole notwithstanding) or the August Underground films…
