Pamela Anderson’s Closet Picks brought me here. Fists in the Pocket, directed by Marco Bellocchio feels like it would be George R. R. Martin's type of movie— complex and unconventional characters, interesting family dynamics, and an overall sense of impending doom. Bellocchio really delivers an unnerving story, even if it feels a bit tame by today’s standards.

This might not be a perfect movie like In the Mood for Love, but I’m not sure anyone does Romance at the same level as Wong Kar-wai. I really enjoyed the multiple stories of one man’s life and imagination throughout the movie, the cherishing of past experiences, and how he develops a nonlinear plot and character throughout 2046. Excellent.

Flow is a beautifully animated movie from Gints Zilbalodis which feels like a contemplative poem that I didn’t fully understand. I enjoyed moments throughout the movie, but I feel like I’d have to go back once or twice to understand the movie better. Still, I enjoyed Cat and the other animals in this movie, and I thought this was really good.
