  Ridiculous and dumb, but I can’t say I disliked it. Pattinson give two of his funniest performances here. There’s a truly great movie in this concept somewhere, but oh well. Get em next time Bong!

  I regret to inform you all this movie has the fucking sauce. Loses a little bit of steam its first act held, but a great time. I’d go as far as to say whoever directed this should be in the five nominated on Sunday. Tremendous stuff.

  Incredibly rough watch.

  Admittedly, the premise is great. I really don't know how this hasn't been used yet by a more capable studio. But a good premise and timely message does not equate to a good movie.

  The point should have been driven home by just displaying the ridiculousness of this group of grown men dressing up in wigs to compete in women's basketball tournaments. That would have been plenty.

  Instead, this often feels like an after school special where…

  Pretty surprising?

  Rhetorically this film(?) is pretty strong. It achieves the same effect that Borat did, particularly the rodeo scene where the absurdity of an ideology is pointed out just by letting people talk and taking it to certain extremes.

  Some of this movie borders on cringe, whether it be a didactic “lecture into the camera” moment or delving into slapstick. 

  But overall, pretty strong piece of work that exceeded my expectations. Pretty clever with how it communicates its message…
