  The moment when the aged Salieri describes the first score of Mozart's he had read, where the piece plays in parallel with his description, is pure cinema. Perhaps no other medium can appreciate mastery like film. Exquisite.

  Paddington in Peru 2024

  Each of the Paddington films are about the immigrant experience. I love that this pushes back on the idea that you have to live where you're from. Home is where make your home. You can have mixed feelings on living in a new place and leaving where you're from without it meaning that you don't belong. 

  It doesn't quite soar as much as the other Paddington movies, but it doesn't need to. It's still lovely and wonderful and fun. I'll rewatch it loads.
