Need a director’s cut. 1st and 2nd half of the movie feel disconnected. There’s so much potential for a great film, it tries to get there and then it falls into formula and cliche. They drop the philosophical conflict of clones and mickey’s inner battle with guilt for the save the day cliche and it ends with a perfect happy ending. It makes me feel nice and warm on the inside. Love a 90 minute film.

Cinema Paradiso 1988
This film connected with me on the most fundamental level of my soul. My eyes did not leave the screen for a single second. I’ve never experienced any film as I did this one. Authentic to its core, every scene so passionately crafted, and the performances were so amazing. I can’t imagine the score being any better. The story is one that is at the core of all of humanity. Simply beautiful. I absolutely love Cinema Paradiso.
