For once a TV show (almost) worth the hype.
Except for the final episode, which falls into that tear-jerking Stephen Graham sentimentality. The 3 episodes before that are, frankly, jaw-droppingly good.

I won't spoil the scenario, but honestly: could this actually even be possible?
That aside, a pretty decent psychodrama, although I preferred "The Guilty" for its tight, severe minimalism. The acting is good here (if it wasn't this could not possibly work).
In the second half the film doesn't seem to entirely know what to do with itself, and ends up overextending itself a little. The ending is pretty unsatisfying.
I'd like to see this director focusing on strict, realist procedurals in the future.
I was hoping for a bit more, to be honest. Too goofy and cutesy. At times hard to follow, and despite being just over an hour, still seems overlong.
An interesting curiosity nevertheless, if you're planning on giving this a go, make sure you're familiar with Serbian vampire mythology -- quite different from the standard Romanian playbook.
