This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The more I think about this movie the less I like it. I think this could have been considered vaguely feminist, progressive, or interesting a few decades ago but it's so insanely cowardly and outdated now.
The movie can't decide between being a zany girl-boss revenge movie or a dark thriller about trauma. Either would have been fine but the movie is too afraid of leaning into either and ends up sucking for it.
The whole premise is wasted because…
