Surprisingly, a movie about machines being human is less human and more machine. This is the grease trap of Science Fiction, a hodgepodge of worn out ideas and audience analytics. And with the movie not trying its hardest, there’s nothing to talk about that would be meaningful in any sense.

What’s it feel like to die? Well what does it feel like to live? Bong Joon-ho’s latest tells a depressing but realistic Sci-Fi story that will keep you on the edge of your feet from beginning to end, making you think and feel things about not only the mortality of the characters presented, but your very own. This alongside a spectacular cast with an award winning performance from Robert Pattinson makes Mickey 17 nothing short of a genuine masterpiece.
Sam Wilson, Captain America. I like the sound of that. This is a roller coaster of a film, delivering a lot of thrills and excitement, while being too fast for its own good. Ultimately though, it comes out on top and takes flight to a brave new world.
