Cool images and visual, other than that it felt a bit half baked. Although interesting, overall very predictable plot and felt a bit like an off brand black mirror. The only thing that pulled this whole movie together was defo Florence Pugh and her acting. (also harry, pls stick to singing)

Anora 2024
Beautiful chaotic movie. Felt really therapeutic to watch the evolution of Anora throughout the movie and especially as she understands and accepts her rage and pain towards the end. It all kinda made sense, the tension between her and Igor building throughout the movie to end in that beautiful scene in the car where she breaks down. Although i’m never a big fan of male director’s takes on sex work and such, I appreciate Baker’s vision in creating very strong-charactered leads for his movie (Mikey Madison was freaking impressing).
