The TL;DR of this movie is Lawrence accidentally becomes important at work and it’s ruining his life

The Holdovers 2023
One of my favorite parts of this movie is when Paul finds out Angus takes the same antidepressant as him and that they both have depression because there really is a deep bond formed when you find out someone is on the same antidepressant for the same thing as you. It makes you feel a little less alone, and feeling a little less alone is one of the big themes in this movie.

Wow I’m so stunned. That was the fastest 3 hours of my life. I definitely need to watch this again to fully absorb everything, but it was just so beautifully done. I’m a huge sucker for how movies use sound and this is my new favorite example of that. Gorgeous score as well.
