Rescue films are one of my favorite genres of movies - especially true stories. Wasn’t familiar with this and while the movie may not be a favorite or long-lasting classic, I think it was very effective for a watch and a great time at the movies!

This is kind of an enjoyable nostalgic movie that I would have really liked if I saw it when I was 10. The movie definitely feels aimed at older kids where it has a bit of edge to it but not quite aimed at full adults. For some reason, I really like this movie. It’s cliche and has a TV show prodcution quality, but Dane Cook is actually likeable in this plays against Dax Shepard really well. Jessica Simpson could be replaced with a wax statue to save some money and nobody would really notice with how litte character they give her. Still manages to be funny and charming enough to be worth a free watch.
