Phenomenal. Hilarious. Surprisingly upsetting.
Taika Watiti did it again. An amazing director for such a controversial and hated era of German times. His dark humour and wit within the movie brought it together beautifully and is not only a great comedy but also a great educational piece.
The way it's filmed is gorgeous, the twist of what happened with young Jojo’s mum...it created a deep saddening emotion especially with the recurring motif of the shoes and his reaction adds to the heart felt moment.
