  couldn’t take it seriously because the main actor is a doppelgänger of my favorite professor so every time he was in danger i was like “oh no watch out behind you dr anderson!” really killed my immersion. also not that scary, good movie tho, but not scary

  this movie was in the wrong category. don’t put it in horror, show me a spooky trailer, and then be a boring social commentary about the migrant crisis and several different things. it was not scary at all. not even a good jump scare. im soft. im so easily scared i’ve never finished coraline!! this movie did not even make me flinch. disappointing. and the social commentary was too much commentary. didn’t feel like a movie it felt like homework…
