Atmospheric, laced with dark humour throughout- and a finale I didn't quite expect- so glad to finally land on this cult classic! Such a great Christoper Lee performance and Edward Woodward portrays the perfect counterpoint. This would have been a TIFF Midnight Madness hit back in the 70s!! Incredible folk rock soundtrack... what a great counter-cultural footprint for those times...

Finding Vivian Maier 2013
Really couldn't stand the expositional and talking heads elements to this film which did not really enrich all the street photography on display- which is both inspiring and affecting. Ultimately, didn't feel like the narrative being told by the director or those who knew her was conveyed with any sense of grace or depth that seemed interesting. Pretty standard filmmaking here but it was worth it to see Maier's work and it's sheer scope.

Um, yeah, "Drive" really isn't for me... I dont care that it is going after the style and feel of films like Michael Mann's "Thief" or that Gosling harnesses Steve McQueen's cool in "Bullitt"... None of it feels like any fun and you…

Originally a parody of the 'Survivor' reality TV series, this film from the early 2000s was a fun re-visit especially with all of the current media attention on the imminent release of the film adaptation of "The Hunger Games" and "Battle Royale" finally and officially arriving on DVD and Blu-Ray in North America. Series 7 focusses on a couple of competitors who have been chosen from a national lottery system to mandatorily participate in series 7 of the nation's most…
