  I enjoyed how this movie musical kept the intimacy and whimsy of the stage form in a screen format. Andrew Garfield continually blows me away, and his grounded quality really makes the hard moments hit harder and the joyful moments float. Nothing cinematically superb, but that wouldn’t have suited the story. Surprisingly enjoyed this a lot!
