Saved this one for Valentines Day as a little treat to myself, and it certainly was a movie that I have now seen.

Captain America: Brave New World does exactly not what its title says. It was not brave, it was not new, and it had 4 countries, barely a world.

Mackie carried over is charismatic persona from Falcon into Captain America, and certainly laid the groundwork for his future as Captain America, one that I am excited for and…

I love Garfield and I love Pugh, so it only makes sense that this movie used them both exceptionally.

The time jumps, though confusing to start, felt like a great artistic choice by the time we wound up at the finale of the film, an emotional, painful, but beautiful summation of the lessons of the central characters.

A horror movie hasn’t made me shiver and give me goosebumps in a long time, but this did.

I still don’t quite understand the movie, but it keeps you constantly guessing, and reveals clues ever so slowly. Nicolas Cage playing a psychotic, devil worshipping weirdo, perfectly, of course, and an outstanding, powerful performance from Maika Monroe.
A strong recommend for horror fans, and fans of Cage’s manic characters.

A classic rom com in every sense of the word and an absolute shame I’ve never watched this until now. Thoroughly enjoyed the developing relationship between the two leads, and their chemistry was evident in every frame they shared together.

It’s no wonder that Julia Roberts was such a star of the 90’s and 00’s, I haven’t seen much of her work, but will definitely be going to have a watch.

Big mistake, huge (me not watching this sooner)
