Enjoyed as much as one is able to enjoy looking at ones split open back. Some very squirmy moments aided by the amazing vfx/prop/hair/makeup with great performances all round.
Wish they took the ending in a different ending. As hard as ending a horror movie always is but that wasn’t it for me. Was hoping for something more real.
In summary: ASMR meets Body Horror
Enjoyed this movie, Nice to see a story with a relationship where things happen over the course but in the end it appears maybe a little progress is made, maybe not at all. We just understand their situations a bit better. Things don’t often have a resounding resolution or big cathartic step, I enjoyed that aspect a lot.
In summary: I don’t know if anyone but Jesse or Kieran could embodied those personalities more.
Tick tick boom has taken a back seat as the second best modern movie musical. Wicked triumphs where others (including many recent non musical movies) have continued to fail. Every practical element of the movie is exactly the standard that is needed and why the quality is so good. Directional live singing, practical sets, the costuming and two perfectly cast leads make who both give Oscar worthy performances. This was on the I need to watch but never gotten to list and I think I just need to lock in and watch those films I keep telling myself to watch coz gaaddamn.
Don’t really have that much to say, was on the edge of my seat, heaps of fantastic tension moments and character decisions battling with their morals. I was locked in.

Pray for the best, prepare for Hugh Jackman to smash your face in if you steal his kid.
