this was better than i expected.
there was a lot put into this movie, so many themes that seemed to fit so cohesively imo.
the concept of recording and saving memories is really good. i loved watching the pros and cons play out. macey making the point to lenny that memories are made to fade was depressing lol but it was that in tandem with the couple cases…
i have hair comments i’m gonna keep to myself
but that punch at the end was sensaaaational
a white savior film if i ever saw one. i mean could you tell from the film cover? lol. i read the critics after and i agreed with every one of them. the director came off like “this is the best history telling for people who don’t want to pick up a book”
now, this film had romance……….
how uncomfortable for me as a black woman to see this white man have romance in the midst of black people dying,…
