A little long in the tooth at times but otherwise a nice gross ripper. It's not doing anything particularly clever, but there's something to letting it be a little self-indulgent

I don't even know how to fully articulate my thoughts on this other than that I'll be thinking about it for probably the rest of my life. It's grotesque and sickly, but in a way that never crosses over into absurd, keeping you firmly placed in a deeply uncomfortable position. It doesn't hold the viewer's hand on anything, almost daring you to interact with it. Frankly I loved it

A medieval phantasmagoria. A living puppet show on the largest stage in the world. Structural breaks as different tales in a single narrative. Lush visuals that act as a character as much as any of the actors. I desire Dev Patel's cape carnally. Only critique is that I feel like it could have been slimmed here and there. There was plenty of breath and I think the pacing pulled it down a bit too much.
