This film made me feel. I was annoyed at Hawke's Hart, so transported into the little Sardi's bubble that Linklater and co. had created. I wanted Scott's Rodgers to have a backbone, to put Hart in his place and tell him to shut up. I involuntarily cared. (I think they did a good job.)

Glory hallelujah - how good is it when films aren't 2.5 hours long? Atmospheric in a way that almost makes up for the lack of action and the lack of action.
