The Brown Bunny 2003
Hits hard every time. Vincent Gallo's one of the real ones. A heartwrenching meditation on grief, denial, and loss with absolutely brutal honesty. An extraordinary work of art. Very grateful this exists.

Puncture 2011
This is an excellent film. On the surface, it’s something familiar that has been shown in films like The Insider and the recent Dark Waters. At its core, however, it’s the true story of a struggling lonely drug addict who is really trying to do something truly good, even when those around him just seem to want to give up. Chris Evans gives what I think is his best performance. It’s really a beautiful, sad, and even inspiring story.

Togo 2019
I am blubbering uncontrollably. This is really quite fantastic. It’s beautifully filmed and is full of so much heart. Willem Dafoe and Togo carry the film so wonderfully. I watched it because Willem Dafoe is one of my favorites, but didn’t expect it be this exciting and dramatic and just all-around good!
