This movie isn’t really as bad as the critics are saying it is and I’m saying this as someone who is a massive fan Simon Stålenhag‘s work.

It’s by no means any good, but far from the likes of Madame Web or Rebel Moon. Do I think it could've been better and closer to the book? Yes. Do I think it was somewhat enjoyable? Also yes. Do I think this movie should have cost $320 million to make? Fuck no.

BJH has got a very strange sense of humour and it isn’t the most subtle of movies but I enjoyed this a lot. Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette should just play villains now for the rest of their careers.

You could say this is one of BJH’s weakest movie, but other directors dream of doing something anywhere near as good as one of his weakest.

A tediously slow movie that is amazing visually and the production design is stunning, but I don’t know if that’s enough to justify the amount of positive reviews for this movie.

And why are there 20 fucking scenes of Lily-Rose Depp rolling her eyes whilst having a fit and being possessed saying “He’s coming. He’s coming”. We get it, he’s fucking coming we got it 10 fucking scenes ago.

Also Aaron Taylor Johnson’s acting in this movie is fucking abysmal.

“We have Bullet Train at Home” but with Cooper from my favourite movie Trap.
