“Hello, my name is Rupert Pupkin. I take the bad things that happen to me and pretend they’re not happening.” Except in his material; The only time he’s honest with himself is during his routine. Because he’s won? We never hear the monologue until he’s made it; the King of Comedy! Just for a night, but long enough for Rupert to except the bad because now he’s experienced best.
I don’t think Pupkin’s a bad guy. Just insufferable

“Don’t Look Up 2”
Simple but solid, and a good message. Felt a little rushed, lots of flashbacks and spoken exposition. Maybe a little too much, even for the run time.
Over all tho this was fun. Good to see an original big budget sci-fi flick amongst all the sequels and remakes
