i liked it enough! i'd be lying if i said i wasn't disappointed... this was probably one of my most anticipated movies of 2024 and it. was just OK? felt like the momentum was off coming from X and the story just wasn't as tight
as far as where it goes on the sliding scale of horror sequels, i'd say it's somewhere between The Conjuring 2 (better) and Happy Death Day 2U (worse). certainly Fine. tough to outrank Pearl tho!!!
