  This movie sheds light on heroin addiction and the consequences. There were bright moments and moments that were hard to watch and moments that were frustrating to watch. In the end I think Renton made the right decision and the optimism at the end of the film left me very satisfied. Renton’s growth throughout the film is also worth noting and very empowering and his monologue at the end of the film is absolutely perfect and really stuck with me. …

  I don’t know why I am just watching this for the first time. From beginning to end I was never bored and they do a good job keeping the viewer engaged with each scene. My heart was legit throbbing out of my chest during the final sequence.

Following
