This film managed to depict patriarchal expectations from women very well, where we see that men either want her to be chaste and virginal as a pop idol or to completely objectify and sexualize her as an actress. Nowhere are any female fans shown, and the narrative focuses on men's wants, so even at the concerts of Cham! we don't really see any female fans.

Not a big fan of the animation, or the trope of making a very outright not good looking person as the villain. It was also very very dark but that's on me for not reading the warnings before watching it.
