    Love the static shots here, the formal restraint mimicking the character's quiet anguish and desperation.

    This is how you elevate a technical feat like one shot filmmaking to art, by focusing on character. Loved how contained and gripping each of the episodes was but it left me wanting more; I guess I was expecting more narrative continuity across episodes, or recurrence of characters in a way that formed a dramatic whole where each episode's events are directly consequential to the next. But the form's limitations got in the way.

    Conflicted about how sentimental the ending scene was, but also, if there ever were a show that earns that sentimental a beat, it is this one.
