A pretty solid legacy sequel, even if it could never reasonably match the original. Love the practical effects (while there is some CG, it’s never obvious and used in a complementary fashion), although I feel like some of the gags were too over the top gross in comparison to the first one which was more silly and slapstick. A few too many storylines (many of which never amounted to much), but I did really love the wedding scene. Worth it for that.

The Fabelmans 2022
Really liked this. Glad we finally got the chance to watch it (especially in one go, which is rarer than I’d like these days). Think it could have been honed down a touch (why does everything have to be so much over 2 hours now?! I feel like the same tale could have been told in 20-30 minutes less and still be a long one), but still a solid watch with lots of cool shots and good performances. Mitzi was really all in on that haircut, though.
