I still cannot understand how Luca Guadagnino made Call me by Your Name. Every time I want to watch something of him, that's always in my mind.
There are just a few little details to like, film itself doesn't feel complete.

A long, looong, interesting Taiwanian take on gender roles. It is quite valuable as a recent perspective from a country that legalized same-sex marriages, the first time in Asia. For me, it was a bit too melodramatic.

How could I skip the chance of crying over one more post-soviet Eastern European movie about the 80s?
Although coming from the South Caucasus, I cannot share the same feelings over evilized (is that a word?) Soviet Union as the Eastern European people, but I can definitely relate to the fictional borders and remorseless governments ruining the only life we have on this earth. I love how playfulness is shown here, in general, extremely good directorial job of showing little moments of love, fun, passion, struggle, family, connection, and many more.
And you know, in the end, it was him, it was HIM!
How could such a good first hour turn into some weird mixture of Hollywood, cheap melodrama and a Spanish netflix show?
Extremely disappointed. The character went from one end to another, with no consistency, the plot twist in the end made no sense, as the last 45 minutes went like 2 seasons of some series, the second part has nothing to do with art, as if these two parts have been made by two different people.
