(500) Days of Summer 2009
That was a pretty painful watch. I think it’s insane how accurate the feelings and experience is. Pretty stylish movie. The ending is hard to accept but made me appreciate the 500 days so much more. The movie hit so hard cause I was sulking over my college dream girl all day today lol and so I watched this and it’s crazy how much it was for me today. Solid ending and movie.

Kicking and Screaming 1995
yeah this movie hits when you watch it right after graduating college. really loved the premise of the film. was a different movie than I was expecting tho. I thought it was kinda flat for a bulk of the movie (although ig that was kinda the purpose) with the exception of some landed jokes, the monologue, some sentimental moments and of course & especially the flashbacks. the flashbacks hit so hard & are to die for & made me really feel something hard…

The Invitation 2022
I thought it was really good!! Great mix and balance of different genres. The film took me by surprise honestly. I mean the trailer left me curious and made me think it had potential, but I wasn’t 100% sold. I’d say it beyond exceeded my expectations! I watched it at USC and the director, Jessica M. Thompson, was there to do a Q&A with us after! So cool! She was lovely and is so humble and sweet. She definitely has a new fan in me! And her director’s opinions and creative decisions and takes really aligned with mine :)

Creep 2 2017
When characters in a Horror movie are just off the rockers stupid where they don’t even have an iota of rationale it already gravely pisses me off, but sometimes I’ll excuse it if it’s a sacrifice for creating a scary movie. This one wasn’t even scary like the first one was (which was a little scary but still not good) and just terrible all-round. Although his acting is good but that’s it. A horrendous movie.
