  I spent much of the movie fighting the urge to point at the screen and go "look! look! I know that place! that's gunn's bakery! I've seen the benches with that real estate agent!" and i swear to god, despite it not being filmed at robert h smith, the school they used looks EXACTLY like the middle school i went to

  I was initially captivated by the winnipeg of it all, but the film is so much more than the city it's in. A truly great film, with striking visuals, and an ending that felt hauntingly serene
