This was heartbreaking to watch. Episode 3 was extremely intense as we got to see into Jamie’s mind and how he was processing the ramifications of what he did, while episode 4 absolutely shattered me to see how his family are dealing with the run up to the trial.
The one-shot takes for each episode sucked me into the lives of the characters and setting, as if I were a fly on the wall observing the events in real time.…

The allegory of a young teenage girl being groomed and co-erced by her abuser leaving her mind traumatised and weak just to have to face him as an adult woman when he begins to haunt her again; A melancholic painting of sexual violence that left me speechless half an hour after the credits rolled.
The final shot of the film in particular with the blood at her legs as a now dead Count Orlok…
