PAUL DANO ELI SUNDAY (frothing at the mouth)
I’m kidding because I hate catchy one liner reviews
absolutely brilliant movie, my only note would be the music feels so random and not aligned to the scene. but epic movie

As someone who works with teenagers for a living and is in a boy’s school at the moment this was an interesting watch.
To be honest the most harrowing part of the show was watching episode 1 and then going to work the next day looking at my students who are the same year as Jamie, thinking to myself that their perception of women is probably screwed already and feeling incredibly depressed by my own efforts to reach them and connect with them.
The animation in this is just such a treat. The colours, the shapes, everything about it is just so of its time and such a loving homage to 50s sci-fi and retro futurism as a whole.
Also dean is pookie and there’s literally nothing you can say to change my mind
true love is watching these movies even though I don’t like them, think they are stupid, etc etc
Koba was right not to trust humans so they made him evil and shoot Caesar to make him a less redeemable and complex villain. I feel like this movie would have been way more interesting if they had made Koba think he was protecting Caesar all along instead of just becoming evil and power hungry to suit the story.
That being said it’s WAY better than the newest one
