  gaga please I love you never do this again.

  there’s no re-edit that would make this any less painful. clumsy dialogue with barely any kind of true character development (besides the remnants of Arthur from the original film) - this feels like low grade fan fiction. the musical elements didn’t even bother me, I was too distracted by the lack of substance. I don’t even care enough about these characters to be invested or bothered by their choices. A reimagined 1985 Gotham - or 1960’s, who knows. 

  truly 2 hours of Joaquin just fucking around and smoking cigarettes.
