The Rules of Attraction 2002
There's so much I love about this movie and so much FUCKING WRONG WITH IT. Like it baaaarely passes the bechdel test and it totally glosses over some pretty major topics. Like right off the bat, theres a rape and hate crime and it's treated like a joke???? But at the same time it's so funny and disappointing and endearing and it's got great songs and little things like that split screen conversation and the inner monologues and the cabinet of dr. caligari on mute in the background and victor's whole little short film and it sucks coOoOoOckkkk. I can't rate it.
