I Live in Fear 1955
Torn between 3.5 and 4 for this one so this score may go up in the coming days. I feel similarly about I Live in Fear to Drunken Angel; not the most complex thing ever but a very firmly made and solid film. The Grand Budapest Hotel 2014
It is very hard to find something not to like with The Grand Budapest Hotel. The film is extraordinarily well crafted (something I can appreciate even more after I visited the Lyon film museum where they had multiple models and costumes from the film on display), the performances are all charming and convincing, and the film itself comes across as both incredibly humorous and incredibly heartfelt.
