  Draws you in by wanting to learn more about the relationship at this movies heart through Natalie Portman’s character until you realize she is weird as fuck too halfway through. It’s equal parts funny and tragic in its absurdity and the fact that this can stick its landing the way it does speaks to its quality.

  The shortest three hour movie I’ve ever seen.

  Initially it seems like it’s going to be a dense and obtuse watch, but the film unravels and becomes clearer as the characters come to terms with the guilt and loss in their lives.

  There are so many moving pieces to this that it’s hard to pick a favorite but what really stands out is how characters are portrayed so subtly and yet can have such an emotional depth to them.
