Came into it with reasonably low expectations. It seems like the next gen writers just threw together all the character tropes. Some parts were laughably bad. Sil visibly 20 years older than Tony? Most of the stories from the show that were played out aren’t consistent. The legacy of James Gandolfini could have been so much better served by having his son play a more central role in an actual prequel to Tony’s story. Overall, from a die hard Sopranos fan, this movie felt like a bag of cheap tricks.
