Starting with a relatively traditional high school story told from the perspective of the highly interesting protagonist, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" captures the audience's attention within seconds. The plot becomes more interesting as we delve further into the minds and pasts of the main characters. The song selection is so deliberate that the viewer may experience a range of emotions through music as the film progresses. I liked how the acting reflected each character's individuality gradually and at the appropriate time. I can't think of anything I don't like about this movie. Perfection.
