I wish I had as many thoughts to write about this film as I about this film as I did Barbie. But like, this is just a good film guys. It’s just good. That’s it. It’s a visual masterpiece and it’s a joy to see a director already proven in the speculative space take those instincts and use them in a piece of hard realism.
I think he actually shows a lot of restraint in his visual metaphors, saving them for the moments that really punch.
Also, the actors killed it. Just, killed it. Really amazing. Also, on a first watch, the dialogue was perfect.
