Beauty and the Beast 1946
First time watching this as an adult and with a new appreciation.
This truly is a stunning film, visually. The costume and set design are jaw-dropping and the practical effects add a wonderful eerie feeling (directly and indirectly) that everything around them was alive and watching. I felt very eh about the script as a whole but the leads’ performance overshadowed many of the issues I had.
