Sweet Smell of Success 1957
This is one of those movies that makes you look around and think, “are we actually all into this?” The “quippy” dialogue is wooden, the plot is held together by the thinnest of threads, and the acting is meh. I’m giving it two stars for the boss from Bewitched who refuses to be blackmailed. Otherwise, I DO NOT GET all the rave reviews for this film.
