  I read the book a few months back cus i was so excited for this movie to come out.

  I know there was some criticism for its length, and it was a long movie to sit through, but based on what I know from the book I feel like thats the length of time needed to tell this story. There was so much that wasnt discussed or mentioned, and I think Scorsese handled the material so well.
