    The movie had beautiful cinematography that would've cured a blind person's vision. However, I look at movies holistically. The story was bland, the characters were fine, although since I am biased towards the humans Quaritch was a great character. However, Cameron tries to push this whole colonialism narrative which is completely bogus. Also, when the characters hiss, it's just annoying and I want to turn the movie off.

    I saw this movie 7 years ago. Holds up today. People are tightasses and think every movie is supposed to be some masterpiece and communicate a deep message. I want a dumb movie that I can spend my time laughing at and is feel good as it emphasizes the importance of family.     Movie was great. I think Rian Johnson is a modern day Davinci of film. A man of humble origins but a fantastic director. A quintessential chef's kiss that would make Gordon Ramsay cry. Cast is great and the actors work well together more efficiently than a Roman legion during Julius Caesar's conquest of Gaul. The references in this movie are bountiful and full of meaning.
