  I don’t know what I was doing rating this 4.5 stars last time I watched, this is a damn near perfect (horror) movie. John Carpenter established the foundational rules of horror, one of which is never show the boogeyman too soon or else it loses all of its scare factor.   OUCH

  Hits too close to home but that’s exactly where I want my romances to be. I want my La La Land’s and my Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind’s to hit me close to home. This film hits you hard from the jump and keeps hitting throughout. It might also be one of the best acted/directed/written films I’ve seen. The subtle moments in between their perfect dialogue is what love is all about. The awkwardly non-awkward silent moments where they just look at each other and say so much more than they could ever imagine
