  When we started watching max immediately went “Barbie speech” and that was true for the entire film.

  Ultimately, I found Nightbitch to be pretty uncomplicated and dishonest. Three quarters through the movie Amy Adams’ character is asked if she regrets having a child, and she emphatically says no, which basically discredits a lot of what the movie had been doing up until that scene.  And I think it would have been a more interesting film if that moment had played differently. And also if she stayed divorced from her husband.

  gonna do a real review of this later, but ignoring the weird politics of this movie, I think my biggest gripe is that it is boring! there is no ambiguity, no sense of discovery that complicates their decision. the movie clearly states, “here is the right choice,” and then you wait an hour and a half for them to make it.
