i got a theory that people with red hair and blue eyes are so appealing for the same reason that marketing execs started that trend of making movie posters blue and orange. that combo of colors grabs at something deep within us. it's like the setting sun and the sky. then again you don't really need science to explain why amy adams is gorgeous. she could have purple hair and yellow eyes, and actually as i type that out i realize she would own that look.

Why do I rewatch movies that make me fight back tears? There are a million movies I haven't seen but instead I rewatched one that destroys me. Weird.
Every shot is so thoughtfully composed. Not a single line of dialogue without purpose, not even the background TV and radio chatter. And the score is too good to mention so I won't.
"Long legged girl" running away from everything until her foster parents give her something to run toward. I am an emotional puddle once again. Ty beautiful Irish indie movie but also kinda fuck you for making me a wreck.
