Apart from one well executed sequence and performances towards the end, this film despite its runtime, has no time to for its characters to develop and connect with each other. The sound and music get blaring loud (as expected from Nolan) and the scenes flash by as if they were each made for a 30 second tiktok. To say this film is a horror film is completely false. It’s a generic unoriginal reminder on the dangers of nuclear war that other biopics and documentaries demonstrate a lot stronger than this glorified extended trailer.

I thought inception couldn’t be topped by Nolan. How he made each action scene complex, fluid and purposeful. Yet this film does more then that. It lets the audience think they pieced together the identities of each character (especially Pattinson’s). However it takes a turn from there and makes your heart and mind go reverse and guess again. Even the espionage genre the film is under takes a turn and spins into a mysterious tragedy piece.
